Becker Meets the Beckers!

During our trip to East Texas for Tish's graduation celebration, we finally had a chance to see our friends, the Beckers! Our good friends Emily & Charlie were able to come up from Austin to meet us in Tyler at Roger & Pat's house. We had been trying to meet up with all of them for quite some time, and this was the last weekend that would have worked before we left for New Mexico.

Unfortunately, my friend Jed just missed meeting Becker, as Jed flew into Dallas from Germany the evening of the morning that Stephany and Becker flew out of Dallas for Albuquerque. Jed will be in the States for two months this summer for a fellowship at the Mises Institute in Auburn, Alabama, so we're hoping that he might yet be able to make it out to Albuquerque before he heads back to Germany to finish his Masters degree.

Beck also got to meet Emily's little one, Laith (his name means "lion" in Arabic). Laith just turned one. We look forward to seeing these two guys together more in the future.
