The last time we blogged about the Katy Trail was May 2008. During our time in Dallas, Stephany and I have enjoyed biking to the trail from our apartment in Highland Park or driving to it and walking. From even before Becker was born, we had looked forward to taking our little guy out for a stroll on the trail—and this past weekend we finally did!
Here are some pics from our family stroll. We stopped by Starbucks and then walked about a mile on the trail. It was such a beautiful day and a wonderful outing.
We also look forward to towing the little guy behind us on our bikes, but we'll have to wait a while to do that. By that time, we'll be taking him out on the Bosque trail in Albuquerque!
Randomly, we also saw the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile in Uptown after our stroll that day. Up to that point, Steph had thought that the Wienermobile was more myth than reality, but the strange, hot dog-shaped van-thing proved her wrong that day. So random.
